I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM THIS NUMBER. REPEAT: STOP. I HAVE CALLED 1300332245 AS WAS RECOMMENDED BY VODAPHONE, BUT I AM STILL GETTING CHARGED FOR CALLS I DID NOT ASK FOR AND DO NOT WANT.  VODAPHONE REFUSES TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY, WILL NOT CANCEL THE CHARGES  AND KEEPS CHARGING ME EVERY TIME I TRY TO TOP UP MY MOBILE. ANYONE WHO IS READING THIS SHOULD JOIN ME IN A CLASS ACTION LEGAL SUITE AGAINST THIS ONGOING SCAM.

This sucks. I signed up for the word game. When I realised it was costing me $3 a pair of texts I got out. I expected to be up for about $30 and was willing to pay the price of stupidity for doing it in the first place but when my bill came it was an extra $60+. They say I received 16 texts and sent 12, some of the received sms cost $6 each. I remember having to send STOP twice. I didn't realise I was being charged every time they sent me something. NEVER go any where near these guys. I am going to complain (it is apparently out of hours now on their complaint line). I am not feeling too hopeful, but you never know. The number is 1300  332 245. Definitely dodgy, but if they say you won, usher harris, hassle them! At least you might get some money back.
had signed up playing word game. text are sent after every correct answer. is this for really?my last text was that i had won $500- bucks for coming second, and ask me to sent adress etc. does anyone heard about the comp.
I was charged $29. I won't be allowed to get credit again for 2 months.  I SMSd STOP and then called the number. I went off at them. I thought texting back YES the first time would get me the new dislike button on facebook. I gave in to a scam and now have to pay the price. I screamed at the girl on the other end of the line and she hung up on me. I only have 98 cents left and I am very, very angry. they won't give me back my credit or anything. Mostly I'm scared of what my dad's going to do.I feel like an idiot.I am screaming through my house tearing my hair out I am so angry. This is a really bad scam.
I was charged $6.6 x 9 = $59.4. Fortunately I STOPPPPPPP it. Why not lodge a complain to ACCC? I am trying to stop their business.
So far i have received 3 msgs from this number regarding results to brain testers and iqtrivia costing $6.60 pmsg 3pwk singup $19.80, asking to reply "YES" or txt stop to stop. I have replyed stop all three times that i have received these msgs so far and all three times i get another msg back saying that i do not have an active account and that i am not being charged for that msg.  My phone is a private phone and is only used for my personal use. i am aware of these scams so i am always sure not to give out my number randomly. Although the msgs state that i am not being charged and that i do not even have an account i continue to receive msgs from it which is becoming VERY annoying.
This number is sending porn type messages to my 14 year old son and t is eating p all of his credit does anyone know who this is and how it can be stopped
I was looking at my daughter's call history on her new mobile phone, and lo and behold she had entered her mobile number into a Twilight quiz on Facebook. After replying 'yes' on her phone, she received 3 messages at $6 each uggghhhh. I sent a msg STOP to 19734567 and received a reply that she has been unsubscribed. Fingers crossed. Thanks 'Yobbo' for the advice about calling the telco.. will do that 2morrow as a backup. The moral of the story is... my daughter now knows that mum wasn't just talking crap when telling her about being careful what you click on when you use the internet! :) and never ever enter your mobile phone number anywhere!!!!Good luck to everyone else who has been caught up in this scam.
It is not the Telcos fault - exactly anyway. The problem with these sorts of 'services' is that anyone can use anyone's mobile number to sign up.  All a person need is the number and the telco used, and they can sign up someone else. These services should have, if they dont now, a message that says in effect 'you have been signed up to this service, the service id $6 per message, please reply to activate service, you have not been charged for this message'Easy, this way only those wanting to use it will be charged and everyone else can ignore it.  The services wont do that as they would loos money, particularly when many see the $6 per message part.
I just received a "Free Message" from this service about brainteasers. It indicated subsequent messages would cost AUD$6.60. Within 5 minutes, I received another message prompting for a response. (I expect I'll have to pay for this one.)I have sent "Stop" as a reply and been told that I don't have an active subscription. These services should not be legal.
This company is run through a asian call centre as part of mobileservice.com which in turn is owned by an american company. I contacted Optus about the messages but they couldnt care less.Optus gave me the website contact details for a website that doesnt exist.Dont wait till you get a bill, contact your phone carrier as soon as you get a message and complain and ask that they note the complaint on your file so if a charge does come through on your bill later on you have proof that you called them.
That's so wrong!!! Our 12 years daughter has been charge hundreds dollars per month due to this scam! Do something Vodafone!
Can't something be done about these b-----ds. This is a 12 year olds phone who wouldn't know anything about the scam. It must be STOPPED. What can we do??
